The Parish Council owns and maintains the playground area, accessed from the War Memorial Recreation Ground and Quarry Close. The play equipment was renewed in 2014, thanks to a grant from WREN.

Trampoline installation
Exciting news!
The contractors have been on site this morning (18/11/2020) and installed the new play equipment.
This will be available to play on by tomorrow - the concrete base needs to set first.

Due to the content of this report, the Parish Council will be carrying out surface repairs to the climbing frame and seeking advice on replacing play bark and other maintenance jobs.

Playground re-opened
The playground in Leek Wootton has re-opened this afternoon.
COVID-19 guidance has been provided, because the playground is not staffed and the Parish Council would be grateful if adults would follow this:

4 July 2020: Playground update
The playground will remain closed until further notice and all play equipment has been taped up.

Following the example of Warwick District Council, which is carrying out a phased re-opening of outdoor facilities, the PC is hoping to open soon, with guidance for users, following a thorough risk assessment to ensure compliance with Government guidelines.
The PC is grateful to all users for their patience.
Playground: New equipment
The Parish Council, which owns and manages Leek Wootton Children's Playground, is considering adding a new piece of equipment and would like to know whether it is a good idea.
It has chosen an in-ground trampoline, but would like to know what children that use the playground think of the idea.
